Let's move on to the next set of hints and tips:
6) Power: Don't forget to plan out the placement and positioning of power outlets as this will inform where you put important equipment like computers and phone systems.
7) Colour: Both in an office you shop you want the colour of the space to reflect the values of your brand and communicate it effectively to visitors.
8) Height: Take the height of any walls or office partitions and this can influence the effective positioning of other features like suspended ceilings.
9) Doors: In the same way that we mentioned above with colour, doors can be the first impression that people get of your office or shop, so make them look good!
10) Access: We've saved one of the most important points for last. Access to the site of the redesign or fitout is something you can't overlook. If at all possible you want to keep your business open to the public and running as it usually does, whilst also allowing workers and technicians to get on with the job. Think smart and plan ahead!
